Keep in mind that bass need to breathe and they need a readily available oxygen supply in and under the water. Cooler waters carry and hold more oxygen than warmer waters, therefore most bass prefer cooler waters and will generally be found there. Also, waters that have a lot of plants in the body of water or around the edge of it, will attract the bass because the roots of the plants trap and hold oxygen bubbles giving the bass the oxygen they need to breathe without having to work too hard at it. So remember to look for lots of aquatic plants, submerged root systems, cooler waters, and fresh flowing water which is naturally oxygenated by the act of the flowing motion.
